Chicken Art

greenchicken

I saw this chicken on Design*Sponge this morning and I think I need it. Why? I have no idea. But since I already have four real chickens, why not add a green, plastic rocking hen to the mix?

Speaking of chickens, I’ve been getting a lot of emails lately about raising chickens in the city. So I’m working on a series of posts for next week on the joys of having four living creatures that like to squawk, scratch and, um, make deposits all over your yard.

Stay tuned!

Isn’t it so cute? I wonder if it is built to hold adults or if I would have to be satisfied with watching my little nephews rock on it? Sadly, there is no price listed on the designer’s website, which makes me think it is probably hopelessly out of my price range.

Im glad we’ll be hearing more about your chickens, I have my first chicks, they just turned 6 weeks and moved outside to their coop 2 nights ago, I’ve been sooo scared with them being outside I keep checking in on them and of course they are fine and its just me being paranoid. any advice for newbie’s would be soooo appreciated!
