Fantastic greenhouse!
I have my miniature nectarine, miniature peach and miniature orange trees wintering inside while I drop hints to my husband on buying me a mini 2 tier greenhouse for christmas. LOL. I've only had my fruit trees a few months and this is there first winter. I hope they survive. I love gardening in the spring/summer and hope to expand to a patio orchard and maybe indoor winter gardening someday.
I love your website!

Rutuja,

The plants growing on the fence (behind the chairs) are sweet peas and squash vines. The peas are the most dominant in this shot. The yellow tufts inside the greenhouse in the last photo are simple marigolds. :)

If you dont mind asking your friend, what are the plants behind the chairs (looks like on the deck rail) and the ones with golden tufts in the last but one picture? Thanks.

Willi,

Thanks for inviting me to share my greenhouse story with the DigginFood audience.

One other modification: we added a couple of thermometers to keep track of the heat/cold out there, too.

Deborah, the plant rotation question is kind of a big one. The short answer is I maintain a multi-year, multi-season crop rotation plan and from that I calender out seed -> harvest planning. And, once the paper planning meets up with the realities of seed-sun-water-soil, planning becomes daily monitoring. As far as what worked and what didn't...most everything worked well -- except maybe the potted carrots that I didn't thin in time! I've written a few posts at gardenhelp.org about growing in the greenhouse, and I'll be adding more. If you have specific questions, let me know!
