Denise–I’m so glad you’re planning on using your harvest this year. I totally know what you mean about it being overwhelming when harvest time comes. Until last year we gave most of our excess away, but once you start preserving it’s hard to stop. Good luck!!

Gardener on Sherlock Street–I just started canning last year, but freezing is so great. Especially for peppers and berries. It’s easier and you don’t have to worry about food safety as much.

Anne–Yay! Canning is fun! I think you should design some cute canning labels when you do!

Awesome, thanks for the links Willi. I plan on trying some canning this year with things from my garden and the farmer’s market!

Thanks for the info!! With these hard time, I am planing on really making my garden work this year…I’ve planted vegetables with recipes already in mind for them (Amazing)…I am notorious for planting veggies and by the time they’re ripe,(in my mind), being far to busy to do anything with them….but NOT THIS YEAR!!!! I WILL freeze and can!!!
